Responsibilities & Context

We are a 100% export-oriented renowned Woven Jackets/Outer Wear Manufacturer, looking for a dynamic, energetic, and analytic candidate for the post of “Sr. Merchandiser/Team Leader”. The incumbent must have experience on Outerwear categories, Candidates from Knit industry no need to apply.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following-

• Capable of Marketing, New Buyer Development, Order Procurement, correspondence, liaising, and communicating with the buyers regarding Capacity booking, Order taking.
• Having sound knowledge in Fabric, material Consumption & costing.
• Skill in costing, production planning, shipment planning and line booking round the year in any situation.
• Proper knowledge and sourcing capabilities about different type of fabrics, trims & accessories from overseas as well as at Bangladesh.
• Strong capable of handling quantitative analysis, Buyer correspondence and creative work, and any Merchandising file of an order starting from new development to shipment of goods.
• Prepare to production plan & shipment plan for the proper execution of sampling according to the “Time and Action Calendar” on a regular basis with production management.
• Follow up development activities (Consumption, sampling)
• Order follow-up, daily correspondence with buyer & suppliers
• Daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to management on ongoing activities and issues.
• Remain up-to-date about all the technologies and techniques, trends, competitors, and all aspects of the company target.
• Should have strong capability to manage a team.

Requirements

Education:

Masters, Bachelor/Honors

Experience:

10 to 15 years

Additional Requirements:

• Age 35 to 45 years

• Strong capability of Team Building and Team Management.
• Knowledge about Accessories, Sample development and negotiation skills.
• Must be able to take responsibility with honesty, sincerity, and professionalism.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must have very good command of the English language.
• Must be self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude.
• Must possess a high degree of correspondence & analytical ability.
• Need experience in handling global customers.
• Need to be able to efficiently handle merchandising team & customers.
• Commitment, attitude, and ability to work as a team.
• Technical knowledge on different Design & styles.
• Sound Knowledge in Microsoft office especially on Excell
• Able to work under pressure as a team player with an open mind to learn, teach to team members.
